The Jamesburg Historical Association hosted science fiction author Russel Like at Lakeview March 13, 2005.
Mr. Like spoke about his books After the Blue and A Bowl of Fruit, A Whale in the Woods.
After the Blue is based in Jamesburg, the last remaining city on Earth, after visiting aliens accidentally killed
off most of the world population with a disease they had. The aliens come back to Jamesburg to recreate life as it
was prior to their arrival but have some misconceptions and meet opposition with the residents of Jamesburg.
