Buckelew Day 2006



Jamesburg celebrated its namesake's life and legacy in grand style at the Buckelew Mansion. Saturday, September 9, 2006 was Buckelew Day, an annual celebration held at the residence of Jamesburg's namesake, Mr. James Buckelew. Lakeview was open for tours, President Lincoln was on hand, a harpist and flutust performed and the Jamesburg Canon was fired during the Civil War Encampment, among many other events throughout the day.
